Diddy’s former bodyguard, Roger Bonds, told Piers Morgan that he saw Diddy get violent with his girlfriends, Cassie and Kim Porter, several times while working for him.
Bonds wasn’t impressed with Diddy’s apology video after a disturbing video showed Diddy attacking Cassie in 2016. In the video, Diddy said he messed up and went to therapy and rehab to get help.
But Bonds said Diddy’s apology wasn’t sincere because he didn’t even mention Cassie’s name. Bonds thinks Diddy was just saying what people wanted to hear, not how he felt.
In the Instagram video, Combs admitted, “I was f–ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom.” He continued, “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video — disgusting. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I sought professional help, started therapy, and went to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry.”
Bonds criticized the apology, stating, “He’s up to the same games. He never mentioned Cassie’s name in that apology, so to me, he didn’t humble himself enough. I think he said what people wanted to hear, not what he felt.”
“He’s a king manipulator. He can manipulate anything and anyone. Money and power is what he’s all about,” Bonds said. “He has a god syndrome.
“Kim got to the point where she fought back because she realized how powerful she was,” the bodyguard said. Kim died in 2018. She had three children with Diddy.
“There was this dark side of him that he was trying to hide and that he wanted me to say didn’t exist. And I can’t say that it didn’t exist if it did exist,” Bonds added.
Allegations against Diddy
Diddy is facing serious allegations of sexual assault and misconduct. In November 2023, several women filed lawsuits against Combs. Singer Cassie accused him of years of abuse, including beatings and rape. Two other women also made similar accusations during the same timeframe.
Joie Dickerson-Neal claims Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her in 1991, while another anonymous plaintiff (“Jane Doe”) alleges being drugged, gang-raped, and trafficked by Combs and associates in 2003.
However, Combs will not face charges for the 2016 assault on Cassie. The Los Angeles DA announced that the incident, which occurred eight years ago, falls “beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”
