Cassie has recently addressed the shocking video of her former boyfriend Diddy violently assaulting her.
Early Thursday, May 23, 2024, Cassie posted on Instagram: “Thank you for all the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has given my younger self a place to feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become.
“With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in.
“I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always, Cassie”

Her statement comes days after CNN shared a very disturbing video from 2016 in which Diddy is seen assaulting her in an altercation.

Diddy had previously denied any of the abuse allegations. However, after the video of him abusing Cassie Ventura was leaked, he made a video acknowledging his mistakes.
In his apology video, Sean Love Combs, also known by his stage name Diddy, said; “I was f–ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom.” He continued, “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video — disgusting. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I sought professional help, started therapy, and went to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry.”
