The American native, Meghan Crumpler is an American television personality. She is best known for being featured on TLC’s new show 1000-Lb Best Friends which was highly inspired by 1000-Lb Sisters. The show follows two best friends, Meghan, and Vanessa through their weight loss journey.

James, her adoptive father had been a working American citizen from the age of 17 until he went on to Hospice 2018, and worked from a wheelchair with no hand use for the last 10 years of his life. Moreover, he was a 12 year veteran of the Army National Guard. She has a younger sister named Ashley Wood. Her sister is married to Chris Wood, her husband, and has been blessed with a daughter.

Crumpler began her weight loss journey weighing 496 pounds which she discovers at Dr. Procter’s office. She was given a weight loss target of 20 pounds. Meghan revealed that it was hard for her to lose the weight but upon doing her weight check again, she was at 459 pounds. As she lost her weight, she also brought in her best friend to try and join her in the journey.
