A native of San Diego, California, Kathy Najimmy born Kathy Ann Najimmy is an American actress, comedian, writer, and activist. She is best known for her role in the film Sister Act in 1992. Moreover, she has also been featured in films like Hocus Pocus(1993) and Rat Race(2001).

From 1997 to 2000, she portrayed the role of Olive Massery on the NBC sitcom Veronica’s Closet. In addition, Najimmy did the voicing of Peggy Hill on the animated television series King of the Hill (1997-2010). She gained national fame for her feminist play The Kathy and Mo Show. She wrote the show and performed it alongside Mo Gaffney.
