Dallas was cast as Fandral in the 2011 Marvel superhero film Thor. Initially, Zachary Levi was meant to play the role, however, he had to leave due to a scheduling conflict. Stuart Townsend was cast to replace Zachary but they later gave the role to Josh Dallas. He, however, did not reprise his role in the film’s Sequel with Zachary Levi replacing him.
