A native of Vancouver, Canada, Jennifer Robertson is an actress, writer, and comedian. She is best known for playing the starring role of Jocelyn Schitt in the CBC Emmy Award-winning sitcom Schitt’s Creek (2015-2020). For this reason, she was nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards (winning one) and four Canadian Screen Awards.
In addition, Robertson has appeared in numerous other shows, including the CBC comedy series This Hour Has 22 Minutes (2003-2004). She was also featured on the CTV sketch comedy series Comedy Inc. (2003-2010) as well as the Disney Channel fantasy film Twitches (2005). Moreover, she was featured in the Family Channel teen sitcom Wingin’ It (2010-2012) and the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021-present).
